From my Northamptonshire workshop, I bring together thoughtful design, careful handling and high‑quality materials. My approach is shaped by years of museum and gallery experience, working with a wide range of artworks and exhibitions.

I offer both conservation grade and high quality standard framing depending on what best suits the artwork and the client’s requirements.

Framing services

  • Framing for works on paper, canvas, textiles, photographs and other artworks, using a considered, artwork‑led approach.

  • Framing to FATG Museum (Level 1), Conservation (Level 2) and Commended (Level 3) standards, with the level chosen to suit the artwork, display and budget.

  • Exploring mouldings, mount colours, proportions and glazing to find the right combination.

  • Natural woods, veneers, stained, painted and leaf finishes in a variety of profiles, chosen to complement the artwork and your style preferences.

  • Hand-cut mounts with clean, precise bevels using cotton‑core (Level 1) or conservation mountboard (Level 2), selected to complement the piece.

  • Standard 2 mm glass or Artglass anti reflective glazing (AR70 or higher) with UV protection, selected to suit the artwork’s requirements.

  • Informed by years of collections care and artwork handling expertise.

The frame is made by hand with precise mitring, meticulous cutting, fitting and finishing.
