Picture Framing

Bespoke framing by Socci Art Consultancy. Handcrafted frames that protect and enhance your artwork, with design and materials tailored to your piece, space and preferences. I combine thoughtful design, careful handling and high‑quality materials to create frames that are considered and well‑made.

All framing is carried out in my Northamptonshire workshop, informed by years of museum and gallery experience.

Framing services

Framing for works on paper, canvas, textiles, photographs and other artworks, using a considered, artwork‑led approach.
Framing to FATG Museum (Level 1), Conservation (Level 2) and Commended (Level 3) standards, with the level chosen to suit the artwork, display and budget.
Exploring mouldings, mount colours, proportions and glazing to find the right combination.
Natural woods, veneers, stained, painted and leaf finishes in a variety of profiles, chosen to complement the artwork and your style preferences.
Hand-cut mounts with clean, precise bevels using cotton‑core (Level 1) or conservation mountboard (Level 2), selected to complement the piece.
Standard 2 mm glass or Artglass anti reflective glazing (AR70 or higher) with UV protection, selected to suit the artwork’s requirements.
Informed by years of collections care and artwork handling expertise.

View the artwork together in person, remotely or on a studio or collection visit.

Design

Choose mouldings, mounts, glazing and other materials that best suit the artwork. A clear quote follows based on your choices.

Construction

The frame is made by hand with precise mitring, meticulous cutting, fitting and finishing.

Collection or delivery

Your frame is ready to display. Collect the finished piece or arrange delivery.

Pricing

Every artwork is different, so each frame is priced according to the materials and finish it needs. Once we’ve agreed the design, I’ll send a clear quote before any work begins.
